`Hi Ken,
`Mark Matossian mentioned you may be the right individual within Google Wallet to speak with.
`I'm reaching out because I have a key technology in the mobile proximity space I think you may be interested in, and I'm beginning a
`structured sales / M&A process.
`Following the sale of my last company, I started working on another concept in the mobile proximity space involving social, payments, and
`several other areas. Given the significant market focus, I think the patents may be of more interest than the company I have been
`considering starting.
`I believe patent concepts are relevant to Google Wallet, PayPal Mobile, ShopKick, Facecash, and several others (including Apple
`potentially).
`The patents generally including use of a short range wireless (such as NFC) to detect another device, and subsequent interaction with a
`server via the cellular network to facilitate aspects related to number of applications.
`A few of the covered concepts include:
`- Authentication using a picture downloaded from a processing server
`, of a purchaser from an NFC device.
`- Use of one time credit card numbers from a mobile NFC device coordinated with the processing server
`.
`- Check in related services such as "taping" a smart poster at a restaurant and receiving reviews of that restaurant from your
`friends.
`- “Multi-factor” NFC like authentication approaches using multiple T
`APs or detections, or a combination of GPS and NFC detection.
`There are quite a few others as well.
`Would you be available for a brief call to discuss this?
`Additionally, I will be in the SF bay area this comming Monday if you have time to meet face to face.
`Thanks,
`Jim Proctor
