`
`An overview of the technology area follows:
`
`These, and the other pending cases, key technology in the mobile proximity space | think Google may be interested in, and I'm beginning a
`structured sales / M&A process.
`
`Following the sale of my last company, | started working on another concept in the mobile proximity space involving social, payments, and
`several other areas. Given the significant market focus, | think the patents may be of more interest than the company | have been
`considering starting.
`
`| believe patent concepts are relevant to Isis, PayPal Mobile, ShopKick, Facecash, and several others.
`
`The patents generally include use of a short range wireless (such as NFC) to detect another device, and subsequent interaction with a
`server via the cellular network to facilitate aspects related to number of applications.
`
`A few of the covered concepts include:
`- Authentication using a picture downloaded from a processing server, of a purchaser from an NFC device.
`
`- Use of one time credit card numbers from a mobile NFC device coordinated with the processing server.
`- "Check-in" related services such as "taping" a smart poster at a restaurant and receiving reviews of that restaurant from your friends.
`- “Multi-factor” NFC like authentication approaches using multiple TAPs or detections, or a combination of GPS and NFC detection.
`
`There are quite a few others as well.
